What is Variable Data Printing?
Variable Data Printing or VDP is a type of printing in which documents are created from a combination of variable text and images taken from records in a database, and produced in a Single Print Run. It is also known as One-to-One Marketing, (Digital) Print on Demand, and Personalized Printing.
A simple example of VDP is a form letter where the name and address of the recipient changes with each letter, but the body of the letter remains the same.
